Its Magic!

Brit took a pen to one of my chairs a few weeks ago. Although she was quite proud of her artwork I was less than thrilled, as you can imagine. I found on ask.com that if you take a Q-tip with liquid dishwasher detergent to it it comes right out! I was skeptical but tried it on one of the lines and didn't even think it worked until I saw how it dried. Beautiful!!!

Happy Birthday!!!

Tuesday was Brit's 2nd birthday (and Phil's but he doesn't like to talk about it). Unfortunately, her parents are a little slow so we didn't order her gifts (only Disney will do and we don't have a Disney store anywhere nearby) until it was too late, so this weekend it will be. Brit is definitely our comic relief. We're not sure what it is but everything she does is hilarious. She loves her older sister more than words can say. She is extremely polite, uncoordinated and slightly firey. She loves music and the entire Mickey Mouse gang. Not to mention Cinderella. Her biggest birthday gift??? Sleep training! (I can't wait until its OVER!)

Easter

I know Easter was weeks ago but here's how our Easter went...Charlie got deathly ill Friday afternoon (still working on 100% recovery but getting there) so we had Easter basket hunt early Sunday morning before Phil went to church. Yes, Brit's mouth is FULL of chocolate. She kind of missed out on most of the candy scattered throughout the house because she got so caught up opening and eating each piece of candy as she found them. Luckily, Charlie is really good about sharing (and didn't notice how much I took from her)!

Spring has sprung!

It is FINALLY warm here again (and by warm I mean 55-60 degrees). Its the best! We had a picnic at the park this morning. The girls had a blast and we were all worn out by the time we got home. It was GREAT!!!

Bar-B-Q

We had a little Famous Dave's this weekend. Phil couldn't be prouder of his "suck all the meat off the bones" daughters. They love ribs!
