TREK

A few months ago we were "invited" to join the youth of our stake on a Pioneer Trek. It actually sounded fun, exciting and a great opportunity to strengthen our own testimonies. We are just shy of three weeks from our departure date and I received an email yesterday from the guy in charge telling us to plan on cold weather since "they still can’t get onto the ranch because the snow is TOO HIGH." I am no longer as excited as I ought to be or as I was...SHOCKING. I'd be a TERRIBLE pioneer.

I think you should come down with something serious about 4 days before you are supposed to leave. . . . .I mean, you can either FAKE a life-threatening illness so you don't have to go, or get a REAL life threatening illness from trecking it through the snow. your choice.

ha ha. No, but really you guys are troopers. You will have an amazing time despite the temperature, right?

Snow! Yikes. You will probably get both extremes at some elevation! You are brave! I'll be waiting comfortably at my computer to hear all about it! Love, Aunt Mary
